Ask and Discuss : Shetlandpony headstall and bridle

I want to train my little pony the academic way but I have MAJOR problems getting any fitting equitment and the worst is to get a fitting kapsun or academic hackamore.

Yes, that is a well known problem. Everthing is to big for a shetland pony and as so few of them need the equipment you require, it is not rentable to stock it.

I know people that use a drop noseband as a caveson. I can make you a pure leather semi caveson if you by ordering tells me the size you want of it. Chank caveson will be to long, and unbroken will be to wide.

To some shetland owners I have sold hackamore shanks and 2 curb straps. They can then use one on top of the nose and one under the jaw and gets a nice hackamore that way. The standard hackamore leather parts are not able to make small enough.
